Dr. Prakash Rao is the Executive Vice President and Business Head of Logistiq (a Landmark Group Brand). Since joining the Landmark Group in 2003, Dr. Rao has played a pivotal role in transforming its supply chain ecosystem. Under his leadership, the organization has achieved significant advancements in automation, digital integration, and omnichannel logistics, setting new standards in operational efficiency and scalability. His contributions include the design of automated distribution centers, network optimization, and the deployment of next-generation digital solutions driving Landmark’s omnichannel transformation. In his earlier role as Group Head SC Projects and Home Operations for the group , he led all supply chain projects and strategic initiatives, apart from the Home SC Operations. In his current role, Dr. Rao oversees Logistiq’ s business into the service lines of Last Mile, Freight , Ecommerce fulfilment , Contract Logistics , Heavy and Bulky and SaaS. With more than 3 decades of experience spanning FMCG, retail, engineering, and consumer durables, Dr. Rao brings a unique combination of strategic foresight and executional excellence. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA in Operations Management from the University of Mumbai and earned his Ph.D. in Business Strategy from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani. A recognized thought leader, he is also a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from ASCM, and a Certified Lead Assessor for ISO Systems accredited by IRCA.
